Introducing Barb Dacks, Gurston Dacks, Joel and Lesley Dacks and Mark Dutton

My second introduction, Mr. Speaker. I’m very, very pleased and honoured to be able to introduce to you and through you to all members of the Assembly a very special woman that I’m honouring today, and that is Barb Dacks. Barb is the owner-publisher of Legacy magazine. I’m doing a member’s statement later to honour her.
Legacy magazine was first published in 1996 and in fact was a finalist for Alberta magazine of the year in 2006. She’s here with her husband today, Gurston, and I think Gurston is going to be introduced by someone else. Also joining her is her son Joel and her daughter-in-law, Lesley Dacks. With her as well is Mark Dutton, who has worked with Barb for Legacy magazine as the art director and designer.
I would ask if they would all please rise and accept the welcome of the Assembly.
